The amount of time editing takes varies depending on the length of the book, but on average the whole process takes about 2 to 3 months.
Pricing is based on a manuscript evaluation and word count.
I use the Chicago Manual of Style, which is the standard for most publishing.
I also have extensive experience with MLA and APA styles. Style requirements will be covered in your onboarding call.
I evaluate each manuscript to determine what kind of editing it needs, and then I provide my recommendations in your custom editing plan. Your book may only need copy editing, but it is impossible to tell without an evaluation.

If a writer tires to edit their own work, they miss things. A professional editor has the objectivity and skill to identify a manuscript's weaknesses and notice the errors.
